How to Boost Your Immunity

Just as important as the medical treatments and vaccines and masks – are ways that YOU can lower your OWN risk of COVID. Think of masks and medical treatments (and distancing etc) as “short-term” remedies – things that will keep you from getting COVID *NOW* – but it’s by making these LIFESTYLE changes, that you can not only further reduce your chance of getting COVID in the first place, but also lower your risk of developing severe disease.

I’ll be honest – if you simply make a change in ONE of these areas, you’ll start to see improvement in how you feel – and even better is that you’ll start to see improvement in the other areas as well. And it doesn’t take long – when it comes to inflammation, your body’s inflammatory levels rise within MINUTES to HOURS after having a highly processed meal – meaning that you can make changes in your body today.

So, start today – and choose ONE that you’re going to work on. Don’t choose the one you think you *should* – choose the one that you CAN – where you are READY. And don’t worry about starting big (in fact, please do not – since that’s a setup for failure) – set a goal for one tiny step you’ll make every day for the next week. Like, you’ll walk for 5 minutes every day outside (don’t aim for more. Literally walk for 5 minutes). Or you’ll not eat processed foods after 8pm – something small that you can keep up for a week.

Put in the comments below what you’re going to do.

I’ll dive more deeply into each topic over the upcoming weeks – in the meantime, let me know which one you’re going to start doing, and where you have questions!

Here’s to your health – for the rest of your life.

All my love,

Dr. D
