TED: An ER Doctor on Ending *Crazy Busy*

How often have you used the phrase “crazy busy” in the past week?

I’m an ER doctor – and you’ll NEVER hear me use that phrase. Because the truth is, when you’re in Crazy Busy Mode – you’re simply (and scientifically) less capable of handling the busy.

You can be BUSY, without being CRAZY. As an ER doctor, I don’t just know this – we have to know that whatever comes through those double doors, that we can handle it. That we’re not CRAZY – that we’re READY.
